Caroline's Blog: How I'm Growing to Love Dieting and Exercising
Hey, guys! How's everyone feeling this week? I'm feeling pretty good, a little tired from a long week of press for my new showManzo'd With Children, which aired this week on Bravo. I hope you watch on Sundays at 9 P.M. as I begin my challenge to live longer and stronger!

It was fun to watch one of my first sessions with my trainer Danielle Conti. Follow her on Instagram to see her in action; she's 5'2" of pure strength and determination. As I saw myself complaining about burpees and pull-ups I realized how far I've come and more importantly, how much further I want to go. I have to give Danielle a large part of the credit for my new love of exercise because she makes me feel like I can accomplish any goal I set my mind to; it's as simple as just doing it.
Having a partner while working out is great, and I recommend it for a couple of reasons.
- First and foremost, it keeps you honest! If someone is waiting for you at the gym, it's a lot harder to stay in bed or on the couch doing nothing.
- Also, it's nice to have a workout buddy that feels your pain, and by that I mean the sore muscles that you never knew you had in what seems like every square inch of your body. That's progress!
I'll be posting a video soon of a short workout that Danielle and I enjoy that doesn't involve weights or even leaving your house. No excuses!

Dieting and exercise get a bad rap and I think it's time to change that. How can two things that are so good for you be considered bad? Dieting is nothing more than changing your eating habits to benefit your health and exercising gets the blood flowing and your muscles working more efficiently. Nothing worth having comes easy, and that includes a healthy body. I've decided to take the words diet and exercise and spin them into positivity one day at a time toward a healthier body and mind. Talk to you all next week!
