How do condoms
Modern condoms are made of latex, which is obtained from rubber trees (hevea). Mostly these trees grow in Southeast Asia. Latex - frozen juice of these trees. Also, some condoms are made from a synthetic substitute - polyurethane material.
At the first stage of production, the working mixture is prepared, which is used to manufacture the product. After that, the resulting material is loaded into special conveyor machines, on which the forms are dropped into latex. The operation is repeated twice. At the same time, the conveyor constantly rotates in order to achieve the most uniform distribution of the composition in shape.
After dipping, the resulting product undergoes a drying procedure, which is carried out at a temperature of approximately + 800 ° C. After this, vulcanization begins, allowing to give strength to the material and add some elements to the shape of a condom (for example, pimples). The process takes place at a temperature of + 1200 ° C. Next, the products are sent for grinding, and then removed from the form by steaming in hot water.
The entire manufacturing process is fully automated. Creating a single condom can take several hours. After production is completed, products are inspected using electronic testing and blowing with air to verify maximum volume and strength. Some manufacturers also use electrolyte baths.
After verification, the received product is packaged in foil material using special conveyor machines. Then all condoms are sorted into special boxes according to their numbering and model. Products are sealed and then sent to the warehouse for shipment to the final consumer.
