The welding inverter is one of types of the power source of a welding arch. The task of the inverter is to ensure stable arc burning and easy ignition. The welding inverter is quite a powerful device, and therefore it is very important to be able to connect it correctly. In this article, just tell you how to connect the inverter.

The welding inverter can be powered from an external power supply of 220 or 380 V (indicated on the device case), as well as from a generator of the corresponding voltage.
Before connecting, make sure that the wiring quality satisfies the device capacity. In particular, it is necessary to make sure that the input power of the welding inverter does not “knock out” the fuse of the external network. To do this, determine the power of the external network and compare it with the power of the inverter. In addition, you need to make sure that the external network is laid with a cable of not less than 2.5 mm2.
Then you just need to insert the classic plug of the device into the socket of the appropriate voltage or the generator connector, and it's done.
