Simple and tasty dishes from ordinary long loaf
Baton - is white bread, having an oblong shape. Fresh, soft, fragrant, it attracts to break off a slice of crispy crust and enjoy its taste. Typically, such a bakery product is an addition to the main dishes, as well as the basis for our usual sandwiches. But today we decided to expand our culinary knowledge and skills, preparing some interesting recipes for you.
All ingenious is simple!
Perhaps we all know croutons in an egg with sugar and hot sandwiches cooked in a frying pan. And it's really delicious. But we have in stock more original dishes that can please your loved ones, and even surprise the guests.
A wonderful alternative to the usual dinner, which, moreover, is quick and easy to prepare. In case the guests are on the doorstep, and you have “hung up the mouse” in the fridge - it will become a real magic wand.
No need to knead the dough, worry whether it is suitable, wait until baked. Everything is much simpler. Will be needed:
- loaf - 1 piece;
- boiled sausage (balyk, meat) - 300 g;
- tomatoes - 2 pcs .;
- onions - 1 pc .;
- hard cheese - 100 g;
- Ketchup or tomato sauce.
Bread should be cut in half lengthwise, remove the crumb from the bottom. Smear both halves of tomato sauce, and lay out the stuffing. For it, finely chop the sausage or meat, tomatoes in half rings, fry the onion, and finely chop the greens. Top with grated cheese, cover with the second half of the loaf and send to the oven for 15 minutes.
This is an excellent Italian snack, which is equally fine for both wine and a cup of tea. Ingredients Required:
- loaf - 1 piece;
- butter - 100 g;
- processed cheese - 1 pc .;
- mustard - 2 tbsp. l .;
- spring onions;
- salt pepper.
In a solid loaf it is necessary to make cuts, cutting as it were, in portioned pieces, but not finishing to the end. Mix the softened butter with finely chopped green onions and mustard, and the resulting mixture abundantly lubricate all the slots of the loaf.
Put the bread on the foil, put an additional piece of melted cheese in each slot, wrap the foil and send the semi-finished product to bake for 20 minutes. When cheese bread is ready, cut it into pieces and entertain guests.
Pudding in the microwave
It turns out that even desserts can be made from a loaf.And if you do not have time to bake ordinary pies, then write down an express recipe. Will be needed:
- long loaf - 3 pieces;
- milk - 70-80 ml;
- egg - 1 piece;
- sugar - 2 tablespoons;
- berries or fruits to taste.
In a mug or small bowl, chop the flesh of the bread. Then put the filling - it can be berries, pieces of fruit, honey or jam. To pour, beat the egg with sugar and milk, pour in to the bread. Cook in the microwave at maximum power for 1-2 minutes.
Top hot pastries can be decorated with grated chocolate and mint leaves.
Usually this delicious treat is prepared from biscuit crumbs. But the recipe can be simplified, and use a loaf that is already starting to dry out. Required Products:
- white bread - 300 g;
- milk - 1 tbsp .;
- sugar - 100 g;
- butter - 100 g;
- cocoa - 5 tbsp. l .;
- Vanillin - 1 bag.
First you need to cook bread crumb. To do this, separate the crumb from the crust and grind with a blender. Boil the milk, make a small fire, add sugar and wait until it is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Mix the crumbs, cocoa and butter, knead until smooth. Pour in the milk and stir again.Form small balls, roll in cocoa or coconut chips and send in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
Excellent, and most importantly - an inexpensive and absolutely natural delicacy is ready.
No sodas can compare with homemade kvass made from a long loaf. Take:
- crackers - 300 g;
- water - 1 l;
- yeast - 10 g;
- sugar - 50 g;
- lemon - ½ pcs.
If the loaf is completely dry, then you need to grind it into a crumb. If it's not enough, then send it to the oven for 20-30 minutes. Put the rusks in an enameled container and pour boiling water. Cover and leave for 3-4 hours for swelling. Meanwhile, dissolve the yeast in warm water, add sugar in 40-50 minutes and pour it into the breadcrumb.
After 10-12 hours in the mixture should appear bubbles and foam, they will indicate that the fermentation process has occurred.
It remains only to strain the finished kvass through cheesecloth, and put a few lemon slices into the drink.
