Why do young die?

According to statistics, the peak of mortality among young people in Russia was in the years 2004-2005. After that, a gradual decline began. But it’s still scary when people die at the peak of their strength and capabilities. Consider the reasons why young people die most often.

Why do people die young

Causes of death at a young age:

  • young people die from injuries and poisoning in 70% of cases.
  • 10% are due to death from diseases of the circulatory system and oncology.
  • almost 6% die young from infectious diseases, incl. HIV
  • in 7% of cases the reason lies in the organs of digestion and respiration.
  • in other cases, only symptoms and signs are indicated without a diagnosis.

The lion's share in injuries is accidents, about 6% - suicide. Tightening of the rules of the road has led to a decrease in mortality from injuries by almost 2 times compared with 2005. But in terms of mortality among teenagers from suicide, Russia in 2013 took the first place.

Diseases of the circulatory system and oncology can be defeated only by improving medical care.Apparently, in this area we have done something, since the mortality rate for these reasons has decreased by a third. A healthy lifestyle and an attraction to sports should also play a role.

In recent years, the mortality from infectious diseases has increased by 6% and over 70% from diseases of the digestive organs. The reason - the spread of drug addiction, which leads to infection with AIDS, as well as destroys the internal organs. For heroin addicts, as well as for those who use chemical drugs, the liver and kidneys are simply refused, one might say, die off.

What to do so that people do not die young

First of all, you need to promote by all means a healthy lifestyle, stopping smoking, alcohol and drugs, which negatively affect all internal organs.

Parents need to talk more with their children, to be, if possible, aware of their problems. If children trust their parents, they will behave more carefully and intelligently, and they are less likely to end up in traumatic situations. There is no more terrible grief than when the young die.
